Juliana K. O’Brien
Juliana is a litigator who specializes in insurance defense, product liability, and catastrophic losses involving fires and explosions. She is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) with a particular interest in the impact of the Internet of Things (IoT) on investigations and liability. Juliana has experience managing loss investigations, coordinating fire scene and lab examinations, and handling fire and explosion related matters across the country. In 2017, Juliana completed the National Fire Investigation Training Program at Eastern Kentucky University.
Juliana has a wealth of courtroom experience, and zealously represents her clients' interest from investigation through litigation. She obtained her bachelor’s degree from Bates College and is ranked as one of the top five female hammer throwers of all time for the college. Juliana graduated cum laude from the University of Maine School of Law where she served as the Executive Editor of the Maine Law Review, a member of the Maine Law Moot Court Team, and as an elected member of the Student Bar Association. Juliana is a member of the Maine State Bar, and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Maine.
