Juliana K. O’Brien
Juliana K. O’Brien is an associate at McCoy Leavitt Laskey LLC. Juliana graduated cum laude from the University of Maine School of Law where she served as the Executive Editor of the Maine Law Review, a member of the Maine Law Moot Court Team, and as an elected member of the Student Bar Association. She obtained her bachelor’s degree from Bates College where she was a double major in anthropology and religion with a minor in history. Additionally, Juliana is a champion track and field hammer thrower, ranking in the top five female throwers of all time for the college.
Prior to joining McCoy Leavitt Laskey, Juliana was a general practice trial attorney focusing on criminal and civil litigation and appeals. She is a skilled negotiator, avid legal writer, and passionate litigator. In addition, Juliana has extensive experience in legal research, case analysis, and interpreting complex codes and regulations.
Juliana is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) through the International Association of Privacy Professionals, a member of the Maine State Bar, and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Maine.
