Sean D. Magenis
Sean Magenis represents clients in claims ranging from products liability, propane and petroleum fuel marketing, premises liability, and professional negligence, primarily involving personal injury and property loss resulting from fire or explosion. With significant experience in defending first party and subrogation claims asserting fire losses, Sean routinely manages loss investigations, coordination and execution of effective fire scene and laboratory examinations, and defends clients in proceedings before tribunals and administrative bodies nationwide. Running the gauntlet between resolving disputes through settlement or in the courtroom, Sean consistently provides his clients with effective and responsive advocacy.
Sean graduated from Boston University School of Law in 2003, having earned his undergraduate degree from Cornell University in 1999. He has served on the DRI Fire Science & Litigation Committee and is a regular speaker at industry and litigation seminars.
