Chelsea Szilagyi Porter

Chelsea Szilagyi Porter is an Associate Attorney in the Ann Arbor office of McCoy Leavitt Laskey LLC. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Near Eastern Languages and Peace & Conflict Studies from Wayne State University in Detroit. She then attended the University of Cincinnati College of Law as an Arthur Russell Morgan Human Rights Fellow.

Chelsea began her legal career as an Assistant Attorney General in the Taxation and Charitable Law sections of the Ohio Attorney General’s Office. As an Assistant Attorney General, Chelsea practiced before the Ohio Board of Tax Appeals, the Ohio Liquor Control Commission, and argued before the Supreme Court of Ohio on behalf of the Tax Commissioner of Ohio.

In her free time, Chelsea enjoys swimming in the Great Lakes, reading novels, and visiting her family and friends.
