Greg was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas. He attended Baylor University for his undergraduate studies and St. Mary’s School of Law for law school. Greg was licensed by the State Bar of Texas in 2015. While in law school he clerked for a reputable insurance defense firm in both their San Antonio and Corpus Christi offices. Prior to joining McCoy Leavitt Laskey in June 2019, Greg worked as an associate attorney for a large insurance defense firm in San Antonio, where he honed his skills in defending first and third party insurance matters. His current practice includes representing clients in cases involving personal injury, products and premises liability, construction defect, wrongful death, motor vehicle and transportation litigation. He also has unique experience in representing Texas school districts in matters involving personal injury.
Greg is fortunate to have two beautiful ladies in his life, his wife, Elizabeth Perez, and his daughter, Katherine Perez. In his free time, Greg enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, woodworking, gardening, and traveling to his family ranch and river house in the bustling metropolis of Camp Wood, Texas. On the artistic side, Greg is also an avid singer, having been recognized as a TSSEC Outstanding Performer for Vocal Performance; an award given to only 250 individuals out of the 100,000 musicians participating in the regional UIL music contests and the 25,000 musicians who performed at TSSEC
