Hallie Semmel is an associate attorney at McCoy Leavitt Laskey LLC. Hallie graduated summa cum laude from Southern New Hampshire University where she earned her degree in history. Hallie graduated magna cum laude from Roger William’s University School of Law where she was a member of the honors program. During law school, she focused on complex tort litigation and catastrophic injury. During her last semester of law school, Hallie externed for the Chief Justice of the Rhode Island Supreme Court, the Honorable Chief Justice Paul Suttell. Prior to that she was a summer associate at Rudman Winchell in their litigation department where she gained experience in tort litigation and alternative dispute resolution. Her practice is currently focused on insurance defense, products liability, and fire and explosion cases. Hallie has served as Marketing Committee Chair for DRI, and she presented on Defending Lithium Ion Battery Claims at the 2023 DRI Fire Science Seminar.
In her free time, Hallie enjoys running, hiking, and reading.
