Jason L. Woody

Jason was born and raised in Houston, Texas. He graduated from Texas Tech University in 2017 with two bachelor’s degrees: one in philosophy and the other in political science. His interest in law began during these undergrad years, and in 2020, he attended law school at Thurgood Marshal School of Law where he obtained his J.D. in May 2023. During his time at TMSL, he worked as a legal clerk for a personal injury law firm and as a judicial extern for a felony court criminal judge.

He acquired various advocacy and litigation skills during his law school years and utilized many of these skills as Staff Attorney for a state agency soon after graduation. He is now excited to be doing the same at McCoy Levitt Laskey LLC.

Jason has a wide variety of hobbies. He enjoys jogging multiple times a week, reading, disc jockeying on the weekends, and cooking meals. Although he does prefer home-made meals, he equally enjoys eating out with friends and family.
