Krista L. Baca

Krista was raised in Eagle Pass, Texas. She attended St. Mary’s University where she pursued her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and Political Science. Following graduation, Krista moved to Washington D. C. where she attended The George Washington University Law School and earned her J.D. in 2023. During her time in law school, she served as the Director of Elections for the Student Bar Association, completed numerous hours for the Family Law Pro-Bono Project, and was a student attorney for the school’s Access to Justice Clinic – Family Law Division as well as the Family Justice Litigation Clinic. 

Krista returned to Texas after graduation and spent a year working for the Cameron County District Attorney’s Office in Brownsville.  As an associate at McCoy Leavitt Laskey LLC’s San Antonio office Krista focuses her practice on general liability, trucking, auto, fires and explosions and product liability matters. 

In her free time, Krista enjoys spending time with her daughter and their dog, Max, as well as cooking, baking and shopping.
