Michael Lauth

Michael Lauth is a partner in the firm’s Chicago office. He represents insurers and self-insured clients, including healthcare providers, long-term care facilities, transportation companies, manufacturers, contractors, and property owners, in cases involving catastrophic injury and wrongful death. His experience spans all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, mediation, arbitration, and trial in both state and federal courts.

He has trial experience in medical negligence and professional liability matters and handles complex litigation involving premises liability, construction, transportation, product liability, insurance defense, and fire and explosion matters.

Mr. Lauth earned his Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law, where he served as captain of the DePaul National Health Law Moot Court team. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University. He is admitted to practice in Illinois and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

Outside of his practice, Mr. Lauth is a Chicago sports fan and enjoys traveling, golfing, and playing pool.
